Leaked render of the alleged OnePlus 3 has made its way to the internet thanks to the usually reliable tipster Evan Blass, @evleaks. The 2016 iteration of the “flagship killer” was showcased in all its glory this time and offers us the first look at what could be the official promo render.
At first glance, the smartphone certainly resembles the HTC 10 to a certain degree. OnePlus seemed to have taken a leaf out from HTC’s design book; the sandstone back finish of the previous model is ditched for an arguably more premium metal design. The metal casing also comes with the obligatory plastic strips to solve the antenna issue prone in full-metal body phone.

According to Blass, the upcoming smartphone will sport an AMOLED display (probably a 5-inch or 5.5-inch panel) and a 3,000 mAh battery – a step back from the 3,500 mAh capacity that he claimed previously. We will also see the return of the integrated fingerprint sensor upfront and support for USB Type-C, much like the current OnePlus 2.
As of yet, no launch date was mentioned for the upcoming “flagship killer” but given the fact that press render are already leaked, it shouldn’t be too long.
