Google will be hosting its Google I/O 2016 conference in about two day’s time, but it looks like the company is not holding back its announcements till the event commences. The internet giant recently announced Spaces, a chat app for Android and iOS devices that makes it easier for users to share things with a group of people.
First up, Spaces looks like a typical chat app however, it has integration with other Google products like YouTube, Photos, Chrome and Search, so you don’t have to leave the app just to see what your friends are sharing. Google says that the app makes it easier for users to discuss about study groups, house hunting, plan weekend road trips and more.
You can invite anyone to join your Space via messaging, email, social network and such. Anyone can view the Space however, in order to post something, the user must join Spaces. Spaces is rolling out today, and should already be available for download in the Google Play Store, or the App Store. Spaces is also available for desktop, and mobile web for all Gmail accounts.
