Cooler Master has unveiled the third iteration of its Sentinel gaming mouse. The Sentinel III is a mouse that is specifically made for palm grip FPS gamers. Highly customisable, the Cooler Master Sentinel III is ergonomically-designed for right hand players.
The Cooler Master Sentinel III features a larger, more contoured body that is almost fully coated in matte UV coating. Other than that, the mouse also has a total of eight programmable buttons and a new Avago 3988 sensor that allows for a maximum of 6400 DPI.
It runs on a 32-bit ARM processor coupled with 512KB (usually 128KB) of on-board memory. This lets you create and save profiles, macro settings, and LED configurations; all without installing any additional software.
Apart from that, the Cooler Master III sports LED illumination in 16.8 million colours, which can all be customised with the Cooler Master software. The OLED display allows users to upload their own logos or to rename their profiles to know which DPI settings they’re on.
Cooler Master is guaranteeing that the matte coating will not peel or tarnish, and that the main mouse buttons will endure up to 20 million clicks. Hidden within the mouse is a weight system that contains five weight disks (4.5g each), allowing the user to customise it to his/her liking. The Cooler Master Sentinel III is now available in Malaysia and will be sold for RM259.
