A series of images of the Samsung Galaxy C5 have been leaked again, this time through Weibo. The latest rounds of leaks offer us a better look at Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone; it was already leaked by French website NowhereElse prior to this.
It appears that the Samsung Galaxy C5 may be sporting a metallic body and bears some resemblance to the HTC A9 smartphone. From here Samsung has taken a page from HTC’s design book; plastic strips have been installed at the top and bottom of the phone to space out the antennas.
According to SamMobile, the upcoming smartphone may come with an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with 4GB of RAM. It also appears that a dual tone LED flash has been installed on the rear. It is also rumoured to be shipping with a 5.2-inch 1080p display. It is assumed that the Galaxy C5 will come pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy C5 is aimed at the Chinese market – and it is unknown if it will be available anywhere else.
