Three new images of the alleged 2016 Moto X have made its way to the internet courtesy of a post made by HelloMotoHK. The series of images hint at a metal-clad phone with a sleek design and a huge camera.
On the bottom of the bezel, the device looks to sport a home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. The rest of the buttons are located on the side and the volume buttons are now distinct buttons; Motorola previously combined the volume buttons into a rocker. On the back, a huge protruding camera module with Moto branding can be found. Below it what appears to be two rows of dot like pins have been installed as well. This would suggest a charging mechanism for the phone, and possibly can be used to dock the phone.
Specifications are still unavailable but a leaked benchmark score from last week suggested that the new Moto X will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC mated with 4GB of RAM. The device may also come with a Verizon’s DROID variant, though they should more or less have the same specifications. No official date has been announced yet for this new device, but rumours are all pointing to the month of June.
