Apart from the Thinkpad X1 family, Lenovo also announced a slew of products under the Yoga series. This includes the new Yoga 900s, Yoga 710, Yoga 510, Yoga 300, Ideapad 700, and the Yoga Tab 3 Pro.
Lenovo Yoga 900s
Dubbed the world’s thinnest convertible laptop, the Lenovo Yoga 900s isn’t that different than the Yoga 900 as it still sports the company’s signature watchband hinge. Under the hood, the Yoga 900s utilises Intel’s latest Core m processors, and can be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. Storage wise, the laptop packs a 256GB PCIe-based solid state drive. Also, it comes equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos Premium, and a 1MP HD CMOS web camera.
Weighing only 999g and measuring 12.8mm thin, the Yoga 900s promises all-day battery life. The laptop has a 12.5-inch IPS panel touch display and comes in two variants – one in full HD (battery life of up to 12 hours) while the other in QHD (battery life of up to 10.5 hours). In terms of connectivity, the Yoga 900s has one USB 3.0, one USB Type-C with video-out, a DC-in port with USB 2.0 function, 2 x 2 Wi-Fi ac, as well as Bluetooth 4.0.
Lenovo Yoga 710
The Lenovo Yoga 710 has a 14-inch full HD display. It’s powered by Intel’s latest 6th generation Core processors, and can be coupled with up to 8GB RAM. It also has an Nvidia GT940MX graphics card with up to 256GB SSD storage on board. Weighing in at approximately 1.07kg, the Yoga 710 runs on Windows 10 and promises a battery life of up to 8 hours in a single charge. The laptop will be available in Platinum Silver or Ebony Black.
Lenovo Yoga 510
The Lenovo Yoga 510 has a 15-inch full HD screen. Packed with Intel’s latest 6th gen processors, the laptop is fitted with a HDD of up to 1TB. The stereo speakers are engineered by Audio by Harman technology, and the laptop promises up to 8.5 hours of usage in a single charge.
Lenovo Yoga 300
The Lenovo Yoga 300 sports an 11.6-inch HD touch display, powered by an Intel Pentium N3700 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 500GB HDD space. In terms of connectivity, the laptop has WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, a card reader, audio combo jack, HDMI port, as well as an Ethernet port. Other than that, the laptop also features stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theater for better media enjoyment.
Lenovo Ideapad 700
The Lenovo Ideapad 700 features a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display with the laptop running on Windows 10 Home right out of the box. It utilises Intel’s latest 6th generation Core processors paired with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Graphics wise, the laptop is packed with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 with 4GB of VRAM. Storage wise, the Ideapad 700 can be equipped with either a HDD (up to 1TB), SSD (up to 256GB) or a combination of both (1TB+256GB respectively). Lenovo is promising up to 9 hours of battery life on the IdeaPad 700, and it comes with all the standard connectivity ports you’d find in a laptop.
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro
The Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a 10.1-inch tablet that has a QHD IPS display. It’s powered by an Intel Atom X5-Z8500 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Yoga Tab 3 Pro also features a 13MP camera at the back with a 5MP shooter on the front. Other than having the JBL front-facing speakers, the Yoga Tab 3 Pro also has a pico projector built in like its predecessor, which is capable of projecting your media content onto a 70-inch display.
Price
Apart from the IdeaPad and Yoga laptops, Lenovo also introduced the Ideapad MIIX 700 and Ideapad MIIX 310. These two models will be arriving in the Malaysian market by early June and will retail for RM4,199 and RM1,199 respectively.
As for the Lenovo Yoga 900s, it is already available in Malaysia starting from RM5,999. The Yoga 710 will be sold from RM3,599 and will be available approximately June 2016.
The most affordable Yoga device of the bunch, the Yoga 300, is now also available in Malaysia, starting from RM1,699. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not mentioned any information on the availability of the Yoga 510, but prices of the laptop will start from RM2,899. Other than that, the Yoga Tab 3 Pro is also already on sale, retailing from RM2,799.
