It looks like we don’t have to wait until 13 May 2016 to buy the iPhone SE officially in Malaysia. Yesterday, Maxis started taking orders for the iPhone SE with its Zerolution bundle and now, you can buy it outright from Apple Malaysia’s online store.
Previously when the price first came out on Apple’s website, the iPhone SE was listed as “currently unavailable”. Apple has finally updated the page and you can now buy the iPhone SE starting from RM1,949, and the device will ship in two to four business days. If you order now, the expected shipment date is on 13 May 2016.
As with before, the iPhone SE is available in four colours – silver, space gray, gold and rose gold. It is available in 16GB and 64GB options for RM1,949 and RM2,449 respectively. You can opt to purchase an iPhone Lightning dock or an iPhone SE Leather Case, priced at RM229 and RM189 respectively.
The iPhone SE was first officially announced back in late March 2016. Apple listed the price for Malaysia exactly one month ago, and just a couple of days ago, several authorised Apple resellers started teasing that the device will go on sale on 13 May 2016. For those who would like to purchase the iPhone SE with a subsidy, you can now check out U Mobile’s bundle, or purchase one from Maxis now. Celcom and Digi have yet to unveil their iPhone SE bundle.
Check out Apple Malaysia’s online store to purchase the device outright now.
