HP has also updated its Pavilion family with a series of new products. This includes the HP Pavilion x360 convertible touchscreen laptop, the Pavilion notebook and the HP Pavilion Desktop tower; in addition to the Pavilion All-in-One.
A new 15.6-inch design has been added to the HP Pavilion x360 lineup; while the smaller 13.3- and 11-inch models have been refreshed for 2016. The series is now available with up to 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD; options for HDD storage are also available up to 1TB. For a convertible, it doesn’t skimp on the processing power; it is upgradeable up to an Intel Skylake Core i7 processor.
The regular Pavilion line now includes the 14- and 15.6-inch models, and loses some weight and thickness. They are configurable with up to a sixth generation Intel Core i7 or AMD A12-9700P processor. Graphics options are available in the form of an Nvidia GeForce 940MX, GTX 950M, GTX 960M, or Radeon R7 graphics. The HP Pavilion is configurable up to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for the single storage option; while the dual storage option supports up to a 2TB HDD and a 128GB SSD. The notebook also comes with an edge to edge display with an optional touch interface.
The HP Pavilion Desktop on the other hand has been updated as well and will now be offered in new chic colours. The small tower starts with an Intel Celeron processor, and is upgradable up to Intel Core i7 processor. There is also the option for a seventh generation AMD A12 processor. Graphics options are supplied by an optional Nvidia GT 730 or GTX 750i; or an AMD R7 graphics card.
It also supports up to 16GB of RAM and 3TB storage; and ships with an optical disk drive. On top of that, it can support up to two displays and HP claims that it has most of the ports for peripherals that customers may need. What these may be is unknown.
The HP Pavilion x360 will retail starting at $379.99 (About RM 1520) for the base model; HP Pavilion notebook starts at $579.99 (About RM 2330) while the the HP Pavilion Desktop will be offered with a starting price of $449.99 (About RM 1800). Pricing and availability in Malaysia was not mentioned unfortunately.
