The company made no secret about its intention to release this particular phone in Malaysia and true enough, Leagoo has officially launched its Shark 1 smartphone for our market just moments ago. Built with a metal body and comes in three different colors, the Shark 1 comes with a 6-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display that the company sources from LG and powered by a 1.3GHz MT6753 octa-core processor from Mediatek.
The Shark 1 also features 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage alongside the support for microSD card. With a thickness of 8.5mm, the 239 grams’ phablet also comes with a fingerprint and infra-red sensor.
Photography-wise, the Shark 1 relies on a 13-megapixels sensor from Sony for its rear camera as well as f/2.0 lens and dual LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel camera and another LED flash on the front area of Shark 1.
Perhaps, one of the most highlighted feature from Shark 1 is its huge 6,300mAh battery. Built with support for fast-charging technology, Leagoo claimed that the Shark 1 can be fully charged in 1 hour and 45 minutes despite having a rather large battery capacity. Furthermore, it also comes with reverse charging capability that allows it to act as a power bank.
Priced at RM 999, the new Shark 1 phablet is readily available through Leagoo’s authorized dealers all over Malaysia. For more information, head on to Leagoo’s official website.
