Remember the wireless portable keyboard LG Rolly that was first showcased at IFA 2015? After nearly 8 months since its unveiling, the roll-up keyboard is finally coming to Malaysia. However, much to our surprise, LG Malaysia will be bringing in the just updated LG Rolly Keyboard 2 instead.
Essentially, the LG Rolly Keyboard 2 now has an additional row of keys. This translates to a pentagonal shaped stick when rolled instead of the old cuboidal one. This is one of the unique selling points of the Rolly Keyboard 2: it can be folded into an easy to carry “stick”.
Build wise, the LG Rolly 2 is made of “impact resistant” polycarbonate and ABS plastic. Aside from having high-contrast keys, the Rolly 2 is also equipped with Bluetooth 3.0 that enables two devices to pair to the keyboard at the same time; users can switch between devices with a simple key press. There is also a built-in stand which will hold tablets of up to 10 inches big.
According to an LG representative, the LG Rolly Keyboard 2 is slated for launch sometime in June 2016; we were told it will be introduced alongside the LG Gram 15 as well. The Rolly Keyboard 2 will be priced tentatively at RM500.
