Samsung recently unveiled a new choice of colour for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Dubbed simply as “Pink Gold,” this variant should appeal to consumers – especially those who want a more feminine device – who didn’t fancy the other four colour choices.
The Korean company mentioned that Pink Gold was chosen as a new colour variant for its latest flagship devices as it is “a natural colour that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces.” While it’s hard to judge just how good the new colour looks based on renders alone, it should look as sleek as the other colour choices of the S7 and S7 edge.
In our review of the Galaxy S7 edge, we loved the fast autofocus speeds of the camera and the overall user experience of the smartphone. Packed with a new dual-pixel 12MP camera sensor, a highly capable Exynos 8890 chipset, and a unique dual-curve display, it’s one of the best Android smartphones you can buy now, although only the S7 edge is currently available in Malaysia.
For now, the Pink Gold Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are only available in South Korea. That said, Samsung mentioned that this colour variant will be available in other select markets in the future, although it remains to be seen if Malaysia is one of them.
