After a year since its initial reveal, the Razer Turret is now available for the masses. First announced at CES 2015, the Razer Turret features a wireless mouse and keyboard combo that is supposed to be living room-friendly.
Besides having an integrated magnetic mouse mat, the lapboard also features chiclet styled keycaps with full anti-ghosting capability. It also has its own dedicated Android buttons in case you are planning to use it with a Google set-top box. Battery wise, it runs on a rechargeable 1,5000mAh battery which Razer claims to last about 4 months, depending on usage.
The gaming mouse on the other hand offers a high precision 3500 DPI sensor with an estimated battery life of 40 hours. Like the lapboard, the mouse charges by plugging it into the included charging dock. Speaking of docking methods, the lapboard can be folded and then placed into the same charging dock, making it unobtrusive when not in use.
The Razer Turret is now available through the company online store for $159.99 (about RM620). Availability in Malaysia is not mentioned, but we should be seeing it sometime this year.
