The front panel of the upcoming Xiaomi Max has been leaked. At 6.4-inches, it is on the upper end of the phablet scale and wanders dangerously close to tablet territory.
The leaked images reveal a gargantuan display with capacitive keys on the chin and a narrow bezel. Aside from capactive buttons, front camera, speaker and sensors, there doesn’t seem to be anything else. There is no physical home button/fingerprint sensor on the front and sources suggest that the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the back, much like the Redmi Note 3.
As far as specifications go, not much has been revealed. However, rumours indicate that the Xiaomi Max will have at least a full HD (1920×1080) display. The phone will be clad in a metal body and packing a Snapdragon 820 SoC, according to MyDrivers. Sources mention that the phablet will be announced on May.
