A series of images of the purported Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus has surfaced on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo. If the leaks are to be believed, Motorola can be expected to announce the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus later this year.
The devices will allegedly sport a home button with integrated fingerprint reader. This came not much of a surprise considering Lenovo announced that all 2016 Moto-branded phones will come with a fingerprint reader. On the design front, Motorola did some work with the camera housing and it features the usual camera array with a dual LED flash.
Both the devices will have the same 5.5-inch display with the camera being the differentiator, according to Roland Quandt of WinFuture. Moto G4 will feature a 13MP shooter with a price tag of 240 Euro (about RM1060) while the Plus variant will receive a 16MP camera but is slightly pricier at 280 Euro (about RM1230). The prices provided are for the 16GB models, and there could be other storage options coming along as well.
With a launch slated in May, it will not be long before the official news starts pouring in.
