BenQ has announced a wider variant of Zowie Gear’s FK1 gaming mouse called the FK1+. Despite being based on the older FK1 gaming mouse, the FK1+ does come with slight improvements over its predecessor. This new addition means that there are now three gaming mouse inside Zowie’s FK gaming mouse series.
Specification-wise, the Zowie FK1+ gaming mouse comes with a Pixart 3310 optical sensor, which is capable of reaching a maximum DPI of 3,200. In addition to that, the gaming mouse also comes with a polling rate of up to 1000Hz. When compared against the older FK1 gaming mouse, the FK1+ is slightly bigger (64mm x 62mm x 68mm) and heavier (95 grams). The gaming mouse also comes with a generous two-metre-long cable.
Like other Zowie Gear gaming mice, the FK1+ is mainly targeted at FPS gamers. Unfortunately, the price and availability of the FK1+ gaming mouse was not mentioned. However, sources are estimating the FK1+ to be similarly priced to the FK1, which had a price tag of US$60 (about RM235).
