Celcom is now offering the latest Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 (2016) with its Celcom First postpaid plans. Get these smartphones from RM708, RM988 and RM1,228 respectively when you sign up for a contract with the telco.
The bundle ties you up to a 24 months contract with either Celcom First Blue or Celcom First Gold postpaid plans. Strangely though, while Celcom’s Facebook page says that these devices are available with the latest postpaid plans with up to 10GB of data, and unlimited calls & SMS to all networks, the product page on the telco’s website only offers up to 8GB of internet (4GB monthly internet + 4GB free internet on Saturday and Sundays), and 100mins + 100SMS to all networks.
The Samsung Galaxy A Series (2016) was launched in Malaysia earlier this year. The Galaxy A7 (2016) is the highest-end model, which is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It has a large 5.5” Full HD Super AMOLED display, and features a 13MP f/1.9 sensor OIS camera at the back with a 5MP camera on the front. Other features include Cat 6 LTE, a generous 3,300mAh battery, and 16GB of internal storage with microSd card slot that supports up to 128GB cards.
The Galaxy A5 (2016) is similar to the Galaxy A7 (2016) with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 13MP rear camera with OIS, and 5MP selfie camera at the front. However, instead of 3GB of RAM, the Galaxy A5 only has 2GB of RAM. On top of that, it has a smaller display measuring at 5.2”, and naturally, it packs a smaller 2,900mAh battery.
Finally, the Galaxy A3 (2016) is the lowest-end model of them all, featuring a 4.7” 720p Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Other specs include 13MP camera, 5MP front camera, 2,300mAh battery, and has 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card.
