Good news to Maxis subscribers, the telco is now offering a 60-day trial subscription for not one, but two video streaming services – iflix and Viu. iflix offers unlimited access to thousands of TV shows and movies from all over the globe, while Viu brings to you your favourite Korean shows such as the Sun, Oh My Venus, Running Man and more.
Both iflix and Viu costs RM10 a month however, for Maxis subscribers, you can enjoy full access to both platforms at no charge for 60 days. Just visit Maxis’ website, and pick the video streaming service of your choice, and follow the instructions to enjoy your free trial.
Do note that for iflix, subscription is not needed – just make sure you are connected to your Maxis network to enjoy your free trial. Sadly though, since this offer does not come with free data for iflix, it means that you must watch out for your data usage, especially if you are on a limited data plan.
As for Viu, you will need to subscribe via your mobile number, which means that when your trial expires, the monthly subscription of RM10/month thereafter will be charged to your Maxis bill. If you do not wish to subscribe to the video streaming service, make sure you cancel your subscription before the trial period is over.
