It seems like LG is unveiling yet another variant of the G Pad II tablet. Dubbed as the G Pad II 8.3 LTE, it is positioned right between the 8.0-inch and 10.1-inch variants of the G Pad II in terms of hardware. Just like the former, this 8.3-inch Android tablet also has a stylus.
While the specifications of the G Pad II 8.3 aren’t exactly high-end, it’s a respectable mid-range Android tablet. It features an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage (which is expandable), LTE connectivity, a non-removable 4,800mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. In the camera department, the G Pad II 8.3 has an 8MP rear camera as well as a 2MP front-facing shooter.
Design-wise, the G Pad II 8.3 has the appearance of a premium device. It seems to have a brushed metal finish back cover, where the rear-firing speakers are also placed. Just like the smaller 8.0 variant of the G Pad II, this 8.3-inch model has a built-in stylus, which can be placed in a slot found at the bottom of the tablet when not in use.
At the time of writing, the LG G Pad II LTE is only available in South Korea. Unfortunately, the retail price of this tablet has yet to be revealed.
