Just in time for the holiday season, Lenovo Malaysia has brought in its latest mid-range device, the Vibe S1. Featuring a premium construction and a dual-camera setup on the front of the device, this is one interesting smartphone.
Unlike many other mid-range devices, the Vibe S1 is built like a premium device, thanks to the curved glass back design that looks rather sleek. Thanks to the curvature, it should be comfortable to hold. Other than that, the S1 has a metal frame as well, which further emphasises the fact that this is a mid-range device with premium build quality.
In terms of specification, the Vibe S1 has a 5.0-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display, a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (expandable with a microSD card up to 128GB), LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support, and a modest 2,500mAh battery. In the camera department, the S1 has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and two front-facing cameras: a primary 8MP shooter and a secondary 2MP camera, which “analyses depth of field information,” according to Lenovo.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 is now available for purchase in Malaysia from authorised retail stores for RM1,299. It is available in two colours: Midnight Blue and Pearl White.
