Known for its range of affordable Android smartphones, Leagoo today has officially opened its first ever flagship store in Malaysia. Located at the second floor of Plaza Low Yat, it marks a new milestone for the company’s operation in our market.
Leagoo’s new flagship store in Plaza Low Yat is not only a retail space for the brand’s smartphones and related accessories but also acts as a service collection point apart from providing the standard after-sales services. Naturally, the company is planning to launch more flagship stores throughout the country with the objective of having at least one branch per state.
If that doesn’t sound aggressive enough for the young smartphone company, Leagoo is in the midst of preparing its new Malaysian HQ which will be opened in February 2016 and has been designed to be a one-stop center for its operation. In terms of new products, the company is working on a number of flagship smartphones that will apparently equipped with deca-core processors, 3 to 4 GB of RAM, and full HD display in the first half of 2016.
On top of the opening of its brand new flagship store in Plaza Low Yat, Leagoo Malaysia has also showcased its upcoming entry-level 3G smartphone called Alfa 8 (not to be confused with the new models we mentioned earlier) that will be making its way into our market by end of December 2015. There will also be another new model to be released into Malaysia within the next few weeks although Leagoo didn’t specify its actual name or specifications.
Given all the aggressive plans that Leagoo has for Malaysia in 2016, it seems like the company is satisfied with all the foundation that it has laid down in our market so far and ready to strengthen its position in Malaysia further. To learn more, head on to leagoo.com.my.
