Just recently, Asus motherboards were crowned as the most reliable the industry. It’s no surprise considering Asus motherboards are generally well-received amongst PC users. The recognition for the most reliable motherboard was done by looking at the percentages of users that request to return their motherboards to the original manufacturers.
The analysis done by Hardware.fr – a subsidiary of LDLC – found that Asus’ motherboards had a return rate percentage of just 1.89% of cases, while manufacturers such as Gigabyte and ASRock had a return rate case of 2.05% and 2.08% respectively. For Asus to achieve such a low return rate for its motherboards, the motherboards themselves must be quite efficient.
Asus has been retaining the crown of manufacturing the best and most reliable motherboards for over a decade now; that speak volumes on just how good Asus’ motherboards really are. This is the second time Asus motherboards have been declared as the industry’s most reliable by a European technology website.
According to Asus, all of this was possible by having its products manufactured around four core pillars: best-selling, ease of use, stability and trustworthy. This probably contributed to the fact that Asus is also the world leader in the gaming hardware market, surpassing even Lenovo. That being said, Gigabyte managed to sell more motherboards than Asus in terms of units sold in Q1 2015.
