It might have taken Huawei some time to bring in its latest wearable, but the Huawei Watch is now finally in Malaysia. What makes this smartwatch particularly interesting is the fact that it has a sapphire crystal lens, not to mention it is also one of the first Android Wear products to be compatible with iOS devices.
Announced back at MWC 2015 (which was held in March earlier this year), the Huawei Watch is one of the best-looking Android Wear device. Complementing the “scratch-proof” sapphire crystal lens is a 1.4-inch 400 x 400 resolution circular AMOLED display, which should look plenty sharp. It also has a classic wristwatch design that will appeal to regular consumers as well, not just those who fancy wearables; a big plus for those who value appearance over anything else.
Other specifications of the Huawei Watch include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, a 300mAh battery, and a heart rate sensor. Of course, as mentioned previously, the Watch can be paired with an Android or iOS device, giving it a wider range of prospective buyers.
The Huawei Watch will be available for purchase on vMall.my this coming Thursday on the 10th of December 2015. The stainless steel case model with a steel bracelet – or a black leather strap – will go for RM1,799, while the black plated variant with a matching black steel bracelet will go for RM1,999.
