Asus has launched its latest addition to the Republic of Gamers’ (ROG) lineup of gaming products. This time it’s a gaming mouse called the ROG GX860 Buzzard Mouse. It features a striking design matched with pretty decent hardware.
The GX860 Buzzard Mouse is a wired gaming mouse that uses a laser sensor for surface tracking. It has an adjustable DPI (dots per inch) range of 50 to a maximum of 8,200. Looking at the mouse itself, other than the standard scroll wheel and DPI switch button, it has three side buttons equipped with Omron switches, which are fully programmable as well.

To ensure that the mouse stays in its user’s hand, the GX860 Buzzard Mouse has rubber grips on both sides of the mouse. On the back of the mouse, there are also a pair of three-way indicator lights (red, orange, and green) to notify the user which profile the mouse is currently using. The GX860 Buzzard Mouse is also compatible with Asus’ ROG software to change even more settings like lighting, macros, DPI levels and more.
