Since its inception in 2011, BlueStacks has been providing Windows users the ability to run Android applications on computers with ease. The software has plenty amount of praises for creating an android emulator for the PC as well as its ease of use. Now, BlueStacks has introduced BlueStacks 2, a new Android emulator with major upgrades that will definitely please most of its users.
The biggest update included in BlueStacks 2 would be the ability to run multiple Android apps at once. The new BlueStacks interface allows users to switch between one Android app to another like switching tabs on a browser. Besides that, BlueStacks is also introducing the Welcome Tab and Android Tab. These tabs will show the most popular Android apps around the globe as well as installing and running Android apps respectively.
BlueStacks has well over 109 million downloads and is currently running more than 1.1 billion Android apps per month. According to Gartner, a research firm, BlueStacks is currently ranked seventh for the largest Android user base in the world. This is probably due to the massive amounts of PC users that are interested in playing mobile games on their computers.
