Maxis has officially kicked off its 24 hours 4G LTE challenge. Starting from 3pm today, Maxis has sent its staff to go on a 24 hour journey around Peninsular Malaysia and test Maxis’ 4G network. They have 24 hours to do so with one goal in mind: to prove that the company’s 4G LTE network is the best.
According to the challenge, there will be 2,400 Maxis staff members who will be covering the whole of Peninsular Malaysia. They will be running a combined number of 24,000 network and engagement tests which averages out to one person doing 10 network tests. The company is running this challenge to engage with its customers and that is why they are also going to interview 24,000 of their customers regarding their satisfaction of Maxis’ 4G LTE network.
The challenge starts 3pm today (19 November 2015) until 3pm tomorrow (20 November 2015). Results will be compiled and it will be made available once all the data have been tabulated.
Despite Digi claiming that it has the widest 4G LTE coverage here in Malaysia, Maxis insists that it currently hold the number one position for that title. The company’s 24 hour 4G LTE challenge aims to back up that claim. It’s great that Maxis is keeping this tradition of keeping its network connections in check. Making sure its standards as well as claims are backed by facts and statistics.
