Celcom has just launched Yonder Music, a new music streaming service in Malaysia that focuses on local artists and content. The service is exclusively available for Celcom FIRST and Xpax customers as it makes its official debut after the launch of the FIRST Blue and Gold plans earlier this week.
FIRST Blue and Gold subscribers have unlimited music streaming bundled in their mobile plan, but it was not revealed which music streaming service the company will be using. Now that Celcom has made Yonder Music official, FIRST Blue and Gold subscribers can start to utilise their 6 and 12 months of Yonder Music membership respectively.
Having a Yonder Music membership means that there are no data charges, no ads, and of course, unlimited access to music. The music streaming app comes with social integration that helps with users’ playlist customisation. A feature called Magic Library contains both downloaded music as well as music that Yonder thinks the customer may like (based on listening habits).
In addition, Yonder Music also releases new and exclusive songs on the first Friday of every month. Celcom customers can download these newly released tracks for free. Other than that, internet plans and Call Me Tones can also be purchased directly through the app. Also, Celcom is giving the heaviest user on Yonder Music a chance to win VIP all-access backstage passes to a Bruno Mars concert in New York.
Starting today until the 18th of December 2015, existing Celcom FIRST and Xpax customers can download the app and try the music streaming service free for a month. Once the trial expires, Celcom will release subscription plans in the future for those who wish to continue using Yonder. Yonder Music is now available for download on the Play Store. iOS users will have to wait a little longer to get their ears on the Yonder Music streaming service.
