Update: Olike isn’t actually a sub-brand of Oppo. Both are “two different companies under separate management,” said Oppo. The article has been amended to reflect this.
Oppo has just revealed that it is partnering with Olike, a company that deals with mobile accessories. According to Oppo, it will be working with Olike tomake accessories not only for its own devices, but for other companies’ products as well.
Olike should not be confused with iLike, which is Oppo’s own brand of accessories. iLike’s accessories include VOOC power bank and car charger, the MIX bluetooth headset, as well as an “Emoji” power bank. Despite the fact that some of these products do not carry the iLike branding, they are all featured on the brand’s Facebook page.

It’s not uncommon for smartphone manufacturers to partner with other companies to produce mobile accessories; one such company is Xiaomi, which is well-known for its affordable power banks and the Yi Action Camera, among other things. Whether or not Oppo and Olike can compete toe-to-toe with Xiaomi in this regard remains to be seen.
Currently, Oppo has yet to unveil any new products with Olike, although it mentioned that Olike will be “venturing into the accessories world as a leader” in 2016. We will see by then what Olike has to offer.
