Subscription-based online music streaming service, Beat Music announced on its website that they will stop the service on 30 November. Although Beats Music will be shut down, they are already asking users to migrate to the next alternative, Apple Music.
This recent announcement isn’t really a surprise to anyone considering Apple’s acquisition of Beats Music and Beats Electronics. What makes it interesting though is the shut down announcement is released just a couple of days after Apple announcing that their own music streaming service, Apple Music is now available for Android users. Android users that are still subscribed to Beats Music will now be able to migrate to Apple Music along with iOS users.
For users that are still subscribed beyond 30 November, the subscription plan will be cancelled. Beats Music is urging their existing customers to move their picks and preferences to Apple Music before the shutdown date.
