Digi has been experiencing intermittent services throughout this week and customers have been expressing their frustration. As compensation, the company is offering its users free 500MB internet quota for 24 hours.
The redemption period for the free internet quota starts from 10.30am today (13 November 2015) until 11.59pm later tonight. Once the user successfully redeems the free 500MB internet quota, it will only last for 24 hours from the time of redemption.
For prepaid users, non IDD Internet Club users just need to open up their dialer and key in *116*4*3*1# On the other hand, IDD Internet Club users will dial *138*3*1*3*1# instead.
There are two ways for postpaid users to redeem their free internet quota. First, users can redeem it by dialing *200*2*1# and choose ‘500MB-1Day-RM0’. Other than that, users can also redeem it through the MyDigi app. Users just need to fire up the app, select ‘Insert Top-up’ and then click on “Internet 500MB 1-day”.
All internet usage will first use the free 500MB until it depletes or expires. After that, only then usage will be deducted from the user’s bundled internet quota. Also, do note that this offer is only eligible for mass Digi Postpaid customers. Enterprise customers will have to refer to their Account Manager for more information.
