It has been a couple of months since the Vibe X3 appeared on TENAA, and it seems like Lenovo will finally unveil the device on the 16th of November 2015. Packed with some serious hardware under its hood, this isn’t your typical mid-range device; if it can even be considered as one.
Based on the teaser image, Lenovo is emphasising on the Vibe X3’s audio capabilities. If we were to look back at the device’s TENAA certification, it seems like the Vibe X2‘s successor will feature front-facing stereo speakers, which lines up with the above teaser.

A fingerprint sensor can also be seen on the back of the Vibe X3, and its other specifications are nothing to sneeze at. These include a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, a very capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory, a microSD card slot, 21MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as LTE connectivity.
These hardware alone tells us that the Vibe X3 is a well-equipped device. In comparison to its predecessor – which was touted as the world’s first “layered” smartphone, it’s as if the Vibe X3 is from a different series. Not only is the X3 powered by a much more capable processor from a different company, it also features a more conventional smartphone design and expandable memory.
What we still don’t know about the Lenovo Vibe X3 are its battery capacity and retail price, which will determine how well-received it will be among consumers. All will be revealed next Monday on the 16th of November 2015.
