ChAIR Entertainment, the creators of the Infinity Blade series is now collaborating with JJ Abrams, movie director and founder of Bad Robot Productions to produce a new game called SPYJiNX. The game will utilise the Unreal Engine and will be released on PC and mobile.
SPYJiNX is an espionage themed game that both the creators claim to “contain a mix of action strategy gameplay, dynamic world building and RPG character development” all within the setting of a world in espionage. SPYJiNX have been in development for almost two years although details of the game remain unknown.
Gamers may sign up on the official SPYJiNX site for an early access for the closed beta which will be rolling out sometime in 2016. This collaboration between ChAIR Entertainment and Bad Robot Productions isn’t the first for JJ Abrams. Bad Robot Production had previously also announced on 2013, their collaboration with game development giant, Valve Corporation. Although there isn’t much said about what had happened since.

Abrams has been very keen on ChAIR entertainment ever since he played their first game, Infinity Blade. Abrams said in an interview “the first time I played Infinity Blade, it blew my mind with what ChAIR was able to do with Unreal Engine.” Infinity Blade is one of the best selling iOS mobile games of all time with downloads exceeding 50 million times. Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade II racked up well over $60 million (about RM261.9 million) in sales.
