After the arrival of the HTC One A9, it seems the Taiwanese company is releasing yet another device – the HTC One X9. The device hasn’t been officially announced but a leaked promo image of the device has appeared on the internet. The device packs a pretty hard punch with its specs, accompanied with a new design.
According to the rumour, there will be two variants the One X9. The lower-end model will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory while the higher-end model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Supposedly, the device will run either on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or a 10-core Helio X20 processor and have a 2K resolution SLCD screen. If the rumours are true, this will be the first time HTC is fitting their smartphone with a 23MP rear camera.
In terms of design, it sports a rather new design language than previous HTC smartphones. The device is made of metal to give it a more premium feel and it appears to have Boomsound speakers that come with the support of Dolby Audio. The company’s logo has also been shifted to the top. On the bottom, soft touch buttons are used instead of on-screen buttons. Not to mention, it seems the device will have two colour options – white and gunmetal grey.
Take the rumour with a pinch of salt. The device is speculated for a December release in China and will be sold for a price tag of 2,999 Chinese yuan (about RM2,050).
