A company in Shenzhen, China has made a clone of the iPhone 6s for $37 (about RM160). Yes, you read that right. I guess these devices are catered to those who can’t afford the real thing, but still wants to have the feeling of owning an iPhone. Because from afar, no one would recognise that the device is actually a fake.
Enter the iPhone 6s clone. This device features a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540. Under the hood, it runs on a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 ARM Cortex-A7 procesor paired with 512MB RAM (not even 1GB?). In terms of storage, there is 4GB of internal memory but how much space is usable is not known. In terms of connectivity, there is no LTE but it does support dual-SIM 3G. The user interface even has an iOS theme to complete the iPhone clone experience.
The iPhone 6s clone is not available in Malaysia but it should be available in most markets in China. It even comes in different colours, including the popular Rose Gold option.
The cloning industry has hit an all-time low as these companies have managed to make clone devices that costs almost ten times cheaper than the original.
