Lenovo has officially announced another series of products under the Yoga moniker. This time it’s the Yoga 700 series and these laptops come in two sizes – 11-inch and 14-inch. They come in slightly cheaper than the more premium Yoga 900 series laptops.
The Lenovo Yoga 700 14-inch features either a 6th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor paired with 8GB RAM. It features a 14-inch Full HD Multitouch LED AntiGlare screen. For graphics performance, it has the Intel HD Graphics 520 onboard with a NVIDIA GeForce GT940M 2G graphics card as an additional option.
This model can be fitted with either a 128GB or 256GB SSD. In terms of connectivity, the laptop has Lenovo AC Wireless cards with Bluetooth 4.0. Powering the device is a 4-cell 45 Watt Hour Li-Polymer battery.
On the other hand, the smaller Lenovo Yoga 700 11-inch will be running on a lower-powered Intel Core m5-6Y54 processor and can be outfitted with a 256GB SSD as well as 8GB RAM. In addition, it has a Full HD 11.6-inch multitouch screen with a 4-cell Li-Polymer battery under the hood. This smaller model of the Yoga 700 series measures 15.8mm and weighs 1.1KG. Besides that, these laptops run on Windows 10 Home and can be rotated 360-degrees, giving its users four ways to get work done or consume media.
The Lenovo Yoga 700 11-inch will be selling for $649 (about RM2,790) while the 14-inch model will start selling at $799 (about RM3,440) for the basic model. The laptops are supposedly available from this month, but so far we haven’t heard any confirmed availability. It is still unclear whether these laptops will make their way to Malaysian shores.
