Google has launched a feature on their Google Play Games app to let anyone easily record and share their winning moments. Gameplay videos have long been around to help players get past difficult levels or listen to funny commentary, like PewDiePie.
All you need to do is fire up the Google Play Games app, select whichever game that you want to play. Press the record button and you’re good to go. These gameplay videos can be captured either in 720p or 480p, which is more than enough. That’s not all, you can then choose to add a video of yourself to provide commentary using your device’s front camera and microphone. Once that’s done, the video can then be edited and uploaded to your Youtube channel.
Unlike live streaming on YouTube Gaming, this method with the Google Play Games app does not require advanced equipment and post-editing skills. All players need are just their smartphone or tablet.
The feature will be available via an update that is rolling out to US and UK users first, and it will users in other countries soon after.
