While the big product launch is set for next week, Xiaomi Malaysia will be releasing one of its more popular accessories, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank at its online store starting from tomorrow.
An update to the hugely popular 10,400mAh Mi Power Bank, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank is slightly smaller in capacity, but has a significantly smaller footprint. It’s about the same size as a credit card (though naturally much thicker), and weighs 207g (compared to the 250g 10,400mAh version). Xiaomi states that the new power bank is more energy-dense than before, while still offering the premium Mi Power Bank hallmarks, including an aluminium CNC machine-milled body and nine layers of circuit protection.
On top of that, the new Mi Power Bank has been designed to be both more efficient and longer-lasting, offering a 93% output conversion at 2.1A, and withstanding more charging rounds. Naturally, they also charge virtually every electronic device via USB. It will also complement the Mi USB Fan and LED light perfectly.
The new 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank will replace the older 10,400mAh model, and will sit in the middle of the two other Mi Power Banks (5,000mAh and 16,000mAh) available in Malaysia. It will be priced at RM59, which is the same as the outgoing 10,400mAh version that saw its price went up last week. It will go on sale starting tomorrow at 12pm at mi.com/my.
