Launched alongside Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Mini 4, and iPad Pro last month, the new Apple TV is now finally available in Malaysia. By that, we mean Apple Malaysia’s online store which has begun taking order for the new media player.
The fourth generation Apple TV is not only equipped with more powerful dual-core A8 processor, the device also has its own App Store which allows users to access apps and games just like what they have enjoyed through iPads and iPhone.

Additionally, there’s also the new Bluetooth-based Siri Remote which features a glass Touch surface, dedicated Siri button, and dual microphone that allows users to interact with Siri through the remote. It also acts as a game controller although the new Apple TV does support third party MFi-based game controllers.
In terms of pricing, the 32GB model goes for RM 729 while the 64GB variant is listed at RM 949. That’s around RM 100 to RM 106 more than the US pricing, in general. At this moment, Apple Store Malaysia stated that it will take around three to five days for customers to receive their new Apple TV if they place their order immediately.
