Cyberfusion achieved the Guinness World Book of Record for the longest LAN party in the world in 2009. Touted the gamer’s dream getaway, the event is back and it will be held in Multimedia University (MMU) Grand Hall, Cyberjaya from 13 to 15 November 2015.
The LAN party will begin at 3pm on the 13th and ends at 6pm on the 15th, players can refer to the activity schedule here. Cyberfusion’s goal is to beat its previous record of 40 hours and 276 participants set back in 2009.
There will also be a tournament on the second and third day of the event, games included in the tourney are Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA16, and Ultra Street Fighter 4. The tournaments are open to both Cyberfusion and public participants, registration forms and pricing can be found here.
Those who manage to secure their tickets will get a Cyberfusion 2015 Limited Edition T-shirt as well as three to four meals a day. LAN cables and power sockets will also be provided. Not to mention, a sleeping area will be prepared but players will have to bring their own pillows, blankets or sleeping bags.
In addition, they will need to bring their own computer or console, monitor, mouse and keyboard. Headsets are preferred to avoid annoying the others. Games are not provided so players will have to bring the games that they wish to play at the event. Not to mention, a change of clothes and some deodorant would be nice too.
For those interested in taking part, Cyberfusion 2015 is accepting a maximum of 300 participants and the registration fee is RM100 per person. Registration ends on Monday, 9 November 2015 11.59pm so act fast.
