After two months of testing and optimisation, fans and owners of eligible Xiaomi smartphones can get their hands on the latest iteration of MIUI.The update will be available over-the-air (OTA) and users can update their phones using the Updater app. For those who don’t want to wait for the OTA update prompt, they can download the ROM package straight from the MIUI Downloads section on release day.
There are seven eligible devices for the update on release day which includes the Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Pad, Mi Note, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2 and Redmi 2 Prime.
