Bethesda has apparently remembered Windows Phone users while developing the next Fallout game. Details about the require PC specifications have revealed that the companion Pip-Boy app will also be appearing on Windows Phone devices.
Fallout 4 will require quite a hefty gaming rig to running smoothly, with Bethesda recommending a NVIDIA GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X for optimum performance. The game itself will eat up between 28 and 35 GB of storage space, depending on the region supported. It looks like the European version of the game will have the largest install footprint as it supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish voice localisation.
There is no telling how the smartphone app will interact with the game, but Bestheda has made it available on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. There is no telling if this means Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows 10 Mobile, but it is a good sign from the developer.
On the other hand, this news could have come a lot earlier. Notably before the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Special Edition became sold out.
