There are plenty of rumors and leaks regarding this phone for quite some time but they were finally put to rest as Google has officially launch the brand new Nexus 6P at a special event earlier this week. Made by Huawei, it is considered by many as the series’ new flagship phone and is packed with plenty of high end including a 12.3-megapixels sensor for its rear camera. As it turns out, the output from the camera seems to be quite good.
Shared on Twitter by Dave Burke, the VP of Engineering for Android, these samples were captured by Romain Guy who is a software engineer for the Android team and has a deep interest in photography. We’ll let these pictures speak by themselves.
In addition to that, Dave has also shared a video captured using Nexus 6P by another member of the development team, Eddy Talvala. The video sample is not just a simple recording but instead, it is actually a 240fps slow motion video. You need to watch the video on Google Photos though, as there is no embed option for it at the moment.
With these samples, it is not surprising to see Nexus 6P in third place on DxO Mark mobile ranking after Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Sony Xperia Z5. Nevertheless, we still eager to see the real deal ourselves and let’s hope that Huawei Malaysia able to officially release Nexus 6P into Malaysia as soon as possible.
