Leagoo has just launched the Elite 1, an upper mid-range Android smartphone, in Malaysia. The device will go on sale this Friday, 25 September 2015, for a retail price of RM999.
The Leagoo Elite 1 is a pretty stylish smartphone featuring stainless steel frame and Gorilla Glass 3 on both the front and back. It has a 5” Full HD JDI display and right beneath that, you will find an octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that supports microSD cards of up to 64GB.
Camera wise, the Elite 1 packs a 16MP f/2.0 shooter at the back paired with dual-tone LED flash. The front on the other hand features a large 13MP with LED flash, a perfect fit for selfies lovers out there. Other notable features on the Elite 1 include a fingerprint sensor that is made with a strong Sapphire Glass, as well as a “Smartbutton” located at the top that acts as a shortcut key.
As for the rest of the hardware, the Elite 1 has dual-SIM Dual 4G support, 2400mAh built-in battery with fast charge that charges up the device in two hours, and runs on Android 5.1 out of the box with Leagoo OS 1.1.
At the launch, Leagoo also introduced a the Leapow 1 power bank, that features a Lightning port so can charge up the power bank using a Lightning cable. The Leapow 1 has 10,000mAh capacity, and for those who do not have a spare Lightning cable lying around the house, there’s a micro USB port too. Sadly though, Leagoo did not mention the pricing and availability of the Leapow 1.
