For those of you who wish to get your hands on the newly announced iPad mini 4, the tablet is now listed in Apple Malaysia’s online store. The device starts with a retail price of RM1,599, quite a bit more expensive than the launch price of the iPad mini 3 last year.
As always, the iPad mini 4 is available in six different configurations – 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, available in either Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi + Cellular. Apple is still offering them in silver, gray or gold colour options. The prices are as shown below:
iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi Only
- 16GB – RM1,599
- 64GB – RM1,999
- 128GB – RM2,399
iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular
- 16GB – RM2,099
- 64GB – RM2,499
- 128GB – RM2,899
Sadly though, for those of you who wish to get your hands on the latest 7.9” tablet from Apple, it’s not available for purchase at the time of writing. The iPad mini 4 is listed as “pending regulatory approval”. On top of the tablet, it looks like Apple will be offering AppleCare Protection Plan for the iPad mini too but the pricing is not listed.
The iPad mini 4 was announced just about two weeks ago, replacing the iPad mini 3. It was listed in Malaysia’s SIRIM database late last week, along with other newly announced iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this is a hint that the new iPhones are on their way to Malaysia too.
