We already know that Xiaomi will officially announce the Mi 4c on the 22nd of September next week, but what we didn’t know is the fact that it will support both micro USB and USB Type-C. Other than that, it will reportedly come in several variants as well.
According to an earlier leak, the Mi 4c will come with a USB Type-C port. In order for it to support the micro USB standard as well, an adapter will be provided with the device that will convert the port accordingly. That way, users can choose between these two USB standards.

Interestingly, it has also been rumoured that the Mi 4c would come in several variants. The base model allegedly comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, while the higher-end variant has 3GB of RAM and two choices of internal storage: 32GB and 64GB.
Other than that, all variants of the Mi 4c will be packed with a 5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, and based on the teaser below, possibly a bigger battery than the Mi 4i‘s 3120mAh cell as well.
It has been rumoured that the Xiaomi Mi 4c will only be sold in China. This does make sense as the “c” in Mi 4c could stand for China, but until it’s officially unveiled on the 22nd of September, nothing is set in stone yet.
