After just 24 hours since Apple released iOS 9 update to the public, it has already received 12.5% adoption. This number is on track with iOS 8’s adoption rate when it was first released last year.
The report is given by Mixpanel, who has a website with live updates with various iOS version adoption. The latest report at the time of writing is for 12pm, whereby iOS 9 is already powering 18.11% of iOS devices. The report is generated from almost 7 billion records. iOS 8 has steadily been dropping, with 75.67%, and older iOS devices are powering 6.21% of iOS devices.

iOS 9 was first unveiled by Apple back in WWDC about three months back, and is finally available for download starting yesterday.
