If you’re a fan of the Uncharted series, you’d want to take a long, hard look at the gameplay video of the first Uncharted running on the Sony PlayStation 4 above. Set to be released on 9 October 2015, this remaster looks very promising, and this is just one of the three games in The Nathan Drake Collection.
Seeing how Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was released back in 2007, it’s amazing how good the game looks like on the PlayStation 4. For a video game that was launched eight years back, it definitely doesn’t look like it. Based on the gameplay video, the game seems to be running at a fluid 60fps as well.
If even the first Uncharted game look this good, imagine how Uncharted 2 and 3 would be like. When Uncharted 2 was launched in 2009, many gamers were impressed by how much the graphics have improved over its predecessor. We’ll have to see if the same goes for this collection, and we don’t have to wait long either; a demo of the remastered Uncharted 2 will be available for free on 29th September.
The Nathan Drake Collection will be the first Uncharted game on the PlayStation 4 – albeit the games are basically remasters of PlayStation 3 games. The collection will be available on the 9th of October 2015. The sequel (Uncharted 4), on the other hand, will land on 18th March 2016.
