Many, many gamers were excited when Metal Gear Solid V came out. What could possibly be the last Metal Gear Solid game from Hideo Kojima himself did not disappoint for the most part, but many are saying that the game ends rather abruptly; leaving more questions than answers. Turns out, the game had a third chapter titled “Peace.”
Players over at Facepunch forums have managed to dig up the title card of the third chapter by going through the files found in the PC version of MGS V. Other than that, they also managed to locate the texture of The Boss’ scar, suggesting that she could have made an appearance in the missing third chapter. However, it’s likely that she would be part of a flashback, although there’s really no way of knowing this.

It’s no secret that the relationship between Konami and Kojima has been on the rocks lately. Chances are, the third chapter had to be cut to rush the game. Although it’s normal for certain elements of a video game to be cut from the final release, it’s a shame it had to happen to such a high-profile game. While Metal Gear Solid V was well-received by its fans, it could’ve been even better with the inclusion of the third chapter.
