While going through SIRIM as usual, we have spotted a new tablet from Asus: the ZenPad 10. Unlike the smaller ZenPad C 7.0 and ZenPad 7.0, this is a much beefier offering. Seeing how this tablet has appeared on SIRIM, the other ZenPad devices – including the flagship ZenPad S 8.0 – could be arriving to Malaysia soon.
In terms of specification, the ZenPad 10 has a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, an Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 64GB, and LTE connectivity. Rounding out the hardware are a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing shooter, and an 18Wh battery.
Just like the ZenPad 7, the ZenPad 10 can be equipped with several interesting accessories. One of which is the Asus Audio Dock, which works as a Bluetooth speaker and a keyboard. There’s also the Z Stylus that can apparently provide a natural writing and drawing experience on the ZenPad 10.
Although a SIRIM certification doesn’t necessarily warrant a local launch, previous Asus devices that have appeared in the database are already available here. Chances are, it’s only a matter of time before Asus Malaysia officially launches the ZenPad 10. The question is: will the other ZenPad tablets be unveiled as well?
