A quick check on the Malaysian vMall site shows that the honor 7 will be arriving in Malaysia on the 21st of September 2015; that’s only a couple of weeks away. As the Chinese company’s latest flagship device, the honor 7 boasts several impressive features.
Unlike its predecessor, the honor 6 (which has a glass back), the honor 7 features a metal construction. Other than that, it has also gained a fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the device. From our hands on with the device, we were pretty impressed by the sensor’s performance.
Other specifications of the honor 7 include a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS-NEO display, a HiSilicon Kirin 935 2.2GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, a 3,100mAh battery, and Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Rounding out its hardware are a 21MP rear camera with PDAF autofocus and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
At time of writing, no other details on honor 7’s availability or price have been announced yet; only the 21st September launch date has been revealed.
