Wish that you could have a smartphone with an extended battery life so it can last an entire day of very active usage? Lenovo has just unveiled the Vibe P1 and P1m that boasts massive battery capacities and smart power saving tools.
The selling point of these two new devices is an exceptional battery life – the Vibe P1 has a massive 5000mAh battery, one of the highest capacity batteries in its class, while the P1m has a 4000mAh storage that supports fast charge. They both have a physical switch that lets you change to power-saving mode in a jiffy, and supports OTG Charging too so you can charge up your accessories like your wearable, Bluetooth headset and such.

Specifications wise, both the Vibe P1 and P1m are mid-range Android smartphones. The Vibe P1 is the higher end of the two, featuring a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).
It has a 13MP camera at the back with the ever-popular phase detection autofocus, and a 5MP camera a the front. Other specs include 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor, NFC, aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass 3 at the front, and runs on Android 5.1 out of the box.
As for the Vibe P1m, the device is smaller, featuring a 5” HD display. It is powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with 2GB of RAM and up to 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Other specs include 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, polycarbonate body with splash-proof nano coating, dual SIM, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Available in Platinum, Graphite Grey and Gold (only available in PRC), the Lenovo Vibe P1 will be priced from US$279 (RM1,182) onwards, and will be launched in early October. The Vibe P1m will be launched in mid-September for a retail price of US$159 (RM674) in Onyx Black and Pearl White.
